Powai Social, Mumbai

Powai Social , A short Review on my recent visit at Social Powai, Mumbai
Very classy interiors, cosy to big space tables depending on what you looking for, they have open sitting space as well. Soothing not at all loud music one thing I would always prefer, cause when you go out, you would want to chit chat, enjoy your food and drinks and also have music around to pace the mood but to accompany not over power. I am sure many of us would agree on this view.

I was quickly addressed by a server who explained there ain't any menu system, pick your phone, scan the QR code and book by yourself, your order would be punched in no time and delivered by the serve.

We booked for sizzlers as I badly craved for one, and to my surprise I found 'deadly wings' and as per as the menu it says it's super hot to handle and they might even hand you with free lemonade if we finish it by ourselves. For everyone who knows me, I just love spice. Without much to think we chose this as our appetizer and ordered few from beverage section.
It roughly took 20-25 mins till the time we were one pint down already, anyways a very simple but a cute shaped bowl , six pieces of wings (lollipop and 2 wings basically) coated and then tossed with their so called spicy sauce. I was super duper excited and frankly it was just a flop show, it was delicious, good crispy coating but if you say deadly or super spiced food, it was not at all.. It could have been far better if done with lil more pungent like they name it. If you say customer can't have spice, obviously they won't be fool to order if they can't take the spice.
Anyways, second meal ordered was Mexican chicken sizzler (we were Forced to choose as by default) as they had only two sizzlers one in paneer and one in chicken. It took nearly 45-55 mins roughly, and the anxious wait was finally come to an end, cause we struggled to this place after few pit stops in search of a sizzler.

They served with a huge piece of grilled chicken breast topped with spicy thick red sauce, served with Mexican rice and sided with sauteed stirred fry veggies. (I didn't touch veggies att alll as everyone who knows I hate veggies) but honestly don't they had cut this extra big size beans rest was good perfect. For me the food was good as a meal, but wished the proportion for rice lil more as comparing to the size of chicken. They must have forgotten to beaten the breast to thin evenly due to which the chicken was stiff, dry and too hard to cut easily. Loved the sauce, they prepared it with spice.

Honestly I won't recommend this place for people looking for offers, they are comparative at higher rates for drinks. But as a place for ambience, music and interiors its certainly a good place. Easy parking, secured complex, first floor, ventilators Available.
